HMT Developer built the Assignee Chain Widget app for Atlassian Jira as a Commercial/Free app available on the Atlassian Marketplace. This SERVICE is provided by HMT Developer and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at the Atlassian Marketplace listing unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, the app interacts with your Atlassian Jira cloud instance.

The app processes data necessary to construct and display the assignee chain/history widget for Jira issues. All Jira issue data, project information, and account identifiers processed by the app are fetched directly via official Atlassian APIs and are rendered within your Jira site environment.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your Jira workspace data, issue details, or personal user data to any external off-site servers managed by us.

Log Data and Diagnostics

Whenever you use our Service, in case of an error or for performance debugging, technical log data may be processed through standard Atlassian infrastructure or diagnostic tools. This Log Data may include details such as site URL, browser user-agent, timestamps, request IDs, and error stack traces. This information is strictly used for application maintenance, bug fixing, and service reliability.

Data Retention Policy

This app does not store, transmit, or retain your Jira project data, issue history, or personal user profiles on external third-party servers or databases.

• Atlassian Workspace Integration: Data processed by the widget is handled within the context of your Atlassian Jira instance session. Once you navigate away or close the page, transient cached data is discarded in accordance with standard browser and Atlassian Forge/Connect runtime behavior.
• Diagnostics Data: Diagnostic logs, if captured via Atlassian's developer console or diagnostic tools, are retained strictly in accordance with Atlassian's standard log retention policies.

Data Deletion Policy

Since the app does not store your Jira data or personal data on external servers, uninstalling the Assignee Chain Widget app from your Atlassian Jira instance immediately revokes the app's access to your site and cleans up all application context data.
