Effective Date: October 21, 2026
1. Introduction
In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us”, “our” and other similar references mean Cao Van Thanh and “you” and “your” and other similar references mean any particular user is using Inline Copy & Paste.
This Privacy Policy explains how Inline Copy & Paste, developed by Cao Van Thanh, collects, uses, and protects user data. In short: the extension runs entirely in your browser, keeps its settings in your own Chrome profile, and sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
2. Contact Information
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact me at admin@hamatim.com.
3. User Accounts
You don't need to create an account or provide any personal information to use Inline Copy & Paste.
4. Personal Information
Inline Copy & Paste does not collect any personal information about you (such as name, email address, etc.). It does not read, store or transmit page content, browsing history or form values. It also doesn't collect or share data related to your computer keystrokes or activities unrelated to the extension's functionality. We don't access Google APIs for personal information, and installation information is not provided during the extension installation process.
5. Cookies
Inline Copy & Paste does not use cookies.
6. Data
Inline Copy & Paste uses the Chrome Storage API to save your settings: which buttons are shown in the bar (Copy, Cut, Paste, Clear, Select all, Undo), the bar size, the bar position, whether the bar appears when you select text, and the list of sites where the bar is switched off. This data stays in your own browser profile, is never uploaded, and is removed when you uninstall the extension.
The clipboard is read only at the moment you click the Paste button, and written only when you click Copy or Cut. The text involved is used for that single action and is never stored or transmitted. The text you type in a field is read only to perform the action you clicked; it is never sent anywhere.
7. Analytics Data
We don't use, collect, or process any analytics data, including Google Analytics.
8. Privacy of Children
We prioritize protecting children online. We encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities and create a safe online environment.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We'll revise the updated date at the bottom of this page and notify you (if applicable). We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed.
10. Your Acceptance of These Terms
By using Inline Copy & Paste, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you don't agree, please refrain from using the extension. Your continued use after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of those changes.
